One of the most frequent questions we get from our guests is -What are the best places to eat in Belgrade?
As there is no “one answer fits all” to this question, that’s why we’ve decided to compile a few lists of Belgrade restaurants. The idea is that anyone can find something to suit their needs.
This week we’ve decided to tackle International food restaurants in Belgrade. If you’ve already got bored of Serbian food, or you’re just looking for something else to spice up your palate, then you should definitely read on to get inspired about food in Belgrade again.
The following restaurants are doing the best to bring all of the various tastes of the world to Belgrade. So we decided to shine some light on their work and entice you to try something new and maybe even outside of your comfort zone.
Mayka - Belgrade International Food in the City Centre
Our first choice is the restaurant Mayka, located in the City Centre that will wow you with their retro interior, music, and vegetarian food that all come together to give you a complete harmonic experience. This is the only restaurant in the Balkans that serves gourmet vegan and vegetarian dishes.
Their motto is “Smells like love” which serves to prove that the LOVE is at the heart of food, especially vegetarian food. Their dishes are a collection of international jewels with a vege twist.

Gastro Bar Terminal - Belgrade International Food in Vračar
If you’re in Belgrade one of the most significant spots to visit is the St. Sava Temple and when you get tired of walking around this is the spot for you to recharge your batteries. They opened their doors in 2015 and then quickly became one of the most prominent names in Belgrade gastronomy.
Here, you’ll have the pleasure of trying innumerous international specialities prepared by top culinary masters. In addition, you’ll get to enjoy the amazing views of the ST. Sava Temple in their gorgeous garden.

If you’re looking to experience Belgrade through the lens of amazing food, high-quality wines and breathtaking views this is the place for you. Set in the very heart of Belgrade, in the main walking area, aka Knez Mihailova (to be precise, Rajićeva Shopping Centre), this Belgrade restaurant will charm its way into your heart with a modern interior, homey atmosphere and top-notch international food.
The City Garden restaurant can simply be described as sensory overload and to top it all off, they have access to a gorgeous garden all year round. Regardless of the time of year, you’ll get to enjoy the views of some of the top Belgrade Attractions, all while trying out one (or more, we don’t judge) of their drool-worthy dishes.
